Zodwa Wabantu is one of the most sought after entertainers in the industry right now but it seems that has many people in the high places offended.
According to reports found on Daily Sun Gauteng MEC for Community Safety Sizakele Nkosi-Malobane says that Zodwa is a "disgrace to future generations" saying:
“Zodwa Wabantu is misleading young women in our society. In her presence, one cannot help but be in awe. She has made herself famous for being a pantyless queen, a Savannah fanatic and for cashing in R 35 000 an hour for appearances at events.”
Zodwa has defended herself saying that she is no trying to offend anyone and is just trying to make a living.
“I am sorry if I offended anyone in the process, I have realised that many people do not like what I do but this is how I like to live my life, my aim is not to offend anyone but to entertain because I make a living out of it.
Zodwa went on to add that she would rather focus on her upcoming gigs
“I will be performing in Namibia soon and that is what I want to focus on, I now have been criticized all over but people still appreciate and respect what I do.”
A few weeks ago, Zodwa also had a bit of a run-in with Celeste Ntuli after the comedian expressed at how disgusted she was at what Zodewa does for a living. The comment angered Zodwa which lead to her calling the comedian a 'dirty pig'.
We hope the two ladies have also sorted out their differances.
